Existing coal hydro-transport technologies require preliminary grinding of coal into powder. The same circumstance prevents the use of pipeline transport for the delivery of granite, limestone and other building materials from mining sites to the consumer. With an increase in the density of the carrier medium it becomes possible to supply through the pipeline coal and other solid materials in lumpy form. After the complete regeneration of the carrier medium, the delivered coal or lump material in such a water-salt liquid is no different from that transported by rail. The regenerated working liquid is completely returned to the head of the process.
