The influence of patent activity on innovation development of the national economy

Abstract

The paper analyzes major problems of protection and use of intellectual property in Russia in the context of national economy modernization and creation of national strategic innovation competitiveness. Particular emphasis is given to analysis of patent activity as an instrument of commercialization and distribution of new products and technologies.
