Situation of education in Paraguay by department, in the light of educational indicators 2014

This article is intended to describe the educational situation through educational indicators, and thus become a tool for decision making regarding policies, strategies and more relevant to the geographical situation actions. It has made a documentary research with a quantitative approach, not experimental, using secondary sources of data, including statistics of 2014 from the Statistics System Continuous (SIEC) of the Ministry of Education andC ulture (MEC), and eduactional data 2015 concerning education of the Permanent Household Survey (EPH) of the Directorate General of Statistics, Surveys and Censuses (DGEEC). The main results show insufficient coverage in all departments in the 3rd cycle of Basic School Education (EEB), the Media Education (EM) and inefficiency problems with levels of grade repetition, dropout and low retention levels, more than inequity in average eyars of schooling of tphoepulation.
