today, due to the indiscriminate increase in population in villages on one hand and as much as it has resulted in a serious crisis in rural settlements on the other hand. This makes the necessity of preserving the environment in the village through waste management. the aim of this study is finding solutions to increase the participation of village people in the waste management process in the Nimbolook district, Qaen county. the present study is based on the nature of method, descriptive and analytical in terms of the nature of method, descriptive - analytic and in terms of the practical purpose through the method of library - documentary and survey to respond to this research in the rural area of Nimbolook district. in this study, villages that are more than 70 households were selected as sample villages of research. the volume of population is equal to 2555 households, based on the cochran formula the sample size of 160 was calculated by 0.075. data and research data were collected with the help of questionnaire and spss and spss for their analysis were used for analyzing the villages in terms of their contribution to waste management from the VIKOR model the results of the research findings showed that according to the significance level less than 0.05 and That of all components were positive, so statistically significant difference is confirmed. Therefore, H1 is assumed.
