The Social and Environmental Responsibility (RSA) as an Organizational Strategy is oriented to capture issues related to the impacts of national and global activities of the firms. Thus, there is a growing number of organizations concerned with the application and to improve their international competitiveness. For a better understanding of this new pattern, we presented a case study of a Brazilian firm “Eletro Aço Altona” from the State of Santa Catarina (Brazil), that has developed its internationalization process based on a Strategy of Social and Environmental Responsibility. Using a qualitative and exploratory research method, we pointed out that the RSA Strategy, more specifically the strategy based on the Setting of Global Standard Network has been used as a mode to improve the international competitive of the company.
