Rore et al generate testicular somatic cell-like cells (TesLCs) including Sertoli cell-like cells from mouse embryonic stem cells in xeno-free culture. They created testicular organoids in aggregation co-culture of TesLCs and epiblast-like cells (EpiLCs) and also find that TesLC-conditioned media promotes the differentiation of EpiLCs into primordial germ-like cells (PGCLCs).
