The objective of this research was to investigate the factors that influence the management of technological tools by cattle breeders in the dual-purpose cattle production system. Using a non-experimental methodological design, with a descriptive-transactional scope, a bibliographic review of the concepts was carried out and a semi-structured questionnaire was applied, its validity and reliability were determined through Cronbach's Alpha. It was found that technological tools are important for the management of these production systems because they have a positive impact on productivity, contributing to decision making and the planning process. It is concluded that the main factors that inhibit the use of technological tools in production systems are the lack of knowledge that producers have about the management of these tools, and the lack of resources for their implementation.
