Investigation the formation of a spark discharge from a layer of deposited dust on a grounded electrode and dependence of air purification degree on the potential electrode voltage
Abstract
This article presents the methodology and results of experimental studies of the formation of a spark discharge from a layer of deposited dust on a grounded electrode and the dependence of the degree of air purification on the voltage at the potential electrode. Based on the research results, the limiting density of the deposited dust and the need to clean the precipitation electrode from the deposited dust layer, as well as the use of spark protection circuits, were determined. It was also revealed that the level of fluctuation of the mains voltage practically does not affect the degree of purification of the air stream from dust.
