The influence of the decorations and colors of (cat) Asiri art in highlighting the identity of the social culture of the southern region

Abstract

The current presentation aims to identify the extent to which the ornaments and colors of the Asiri art Qatt influence in highlighting the social culture of the southern region, and to identify the distinctive character of the Asiri folklore. This research used both the inductive and analytical method, and a questionnaire was applied to a sample of (111) individuals from the southern region. The results of this research: There is a significant impact of the ornaments and colors of the Asiri Qatt in highlighting the cultural highlight of the southern region, and that there are great benefits to the signs of geometric designs and colors in the art of the Asiri Qatt; The commercial nature of models and printing could create a potential for a rise in contemporary painting. From Al-Asiri wall art (The Qatt) suitable for modern designs.
