Common superficial fungal infections in the pediatric age group

Abstract

Superficial fungal infections are a common presentation in the pediatric age group and are a significant cause of morbidity in children. This review covers infections commonly seen in the pediatric age group like the dermatophytic infections,pityriasis versicolor and candidiasis including their management aspects.
