Evaluation of the quality of educational services and facilities of Babol University of Medical Sciences from the point of view of graduate students

ABSTRACT BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: One of the goals of higher education is to train,development and provision of human resources are the progressive development of the countery in all aspects.the efficiency of higher education can be promoted through the university internal evaluation and its quality.The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of education and services offered by the university graduate education opinion of Babol University of Medical Sciences. METHODS: This descriptive-analytic study was couducted from131from275ones of statistical community of Babol University of Medical Sciences in simple randomized way.The data were completed by a Student Satisfaction Inventory(SSI) questionnaire in welfare services, educational,educational,student-centered services and supervisor professors. Then analyzed by SPSS 21. FINDINGS: Of 131 people,89.3% were graduate students and10.7% were at the PhD level.The total satisfaction rate73% was considered as acceptable level of satisfaction.the services of the supervisor, student services, educational, educational assistance and welfare services received the highest and lowest grades respectively.Regarding the level of attention of authorities, the most attention was paid to educational services and the least attention was paid to welfare services.Also,there was not a meaningful relationship between students' satisfaction and the level of attention of the authorities with the educational level factor. CONCLUSION: Based on the viewpoints of the students, it is essential that university officials pay more attention to meet the needs of students and improve the quality of education and services, especially in the field of welfare services. According to the assessment, the overall satisfaction with the quality of education and services was evaluated as desirable.
