Obstructive hydronephrosis with secondary urosepsis
Abstract
Abstract Obstructive uropathy is one of the leading causes of urosepsis. In patients with severe hydronephrosis, underlying sepsis and renal dysfunction should be treated with caution. The immediate drainage of hydronephrosis is crucial for infectious source removal and is hence related to the patient's prognosis.
