Abstract

The purpose of the article is to highlight the activity of the library network of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the conditions of the Russian-Ukrainian war in order to implement the first priority task - the physical preservation and protection of the branch funds of scientific publications formed over decades, which also include valuable and rare documents, which are the basis of the information provision of Ukrainian science. The methodological basis of the study. The use of general scientific methods of research - analysis, synthesis, generalization contributed to the achievement of the set goal. The scientific novelty. The article analyzes the changes in priorities in the activity of the library network of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine during the war, the main of which is the preservation and replenishment of library funds as a base of information support for scientific activities aimed at increasing the self-sufficiency and security of Ukraine, at the post-war reconstruction and development of the country. Conclusions. Libraries of scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are participants of the national library and information front, formed in the conditions of the war, work in all its areas, join allevents and initiatives. And occupying a special place in the information space of Ukraineas members of the library and information complex of the National Academy of Sciencesof Ukraine, despite the constant danger of enemy attacks, they realize their mission of preserving unique library and information resources and information provision of priorityareas of scientific activity.
