MÍDIA E TRABALHO ESCRAVO CONTEMPORÂNEO: perspectivas da recepção

Abstract

The study is part of the discussions held during the doctoral process and objective analysis, it aims to analyze looks of Maranhão's rural workers that have undergone contemporary slave labor schemes, about media representations on the subject. Here we present some paths taken to understand the constitution of representations for the subjects from the media, and more specifically from television news text. In that sense, we situate this article slave labor concepts used on television in the perception of the group of workers investigated.
