A 64-year-old woman with a history of traumatic paraplegia and recurrent urinary infections was admitted to this hospital because of fever and urinary tract symptoms. Abdominal examination revealed marked distention with diminished bowel sounds, and severe rectosigmoid distention is observed in computed tomography. Hartmann is performed. Pseudomembranous colitis is confirmed after performing an anatomic pathology examination.
