The ‘General Meeting’ as a pedagogical device of shaping at the Agricultural teaching in Minas Gerais (1928-1951)
Abstract
The article desenvolves a study about the ‘General Meeting’, while a pedagogical device instituted in Escola Superior de Agricultura e Veterinária do Estado de Minas Gerais (ESAV), between 1927 and 1951, that had helped to forge a man and professional profile wanted for that public establishment owned by the state. For that, it introduces aspects related to rurality moviment discution that will guide the institutionalization of agricultural teaching in Brazil, on the first half of the 20th century, in legal and political terms, to understand the context of criation and conceptions of ESAV's way to teach, viewing the integral and professional building profile.
