SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR TEDARİK ZİNCİRLERİ: SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK RAPORLARININ İÇERİK ANALİZİ (SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAINS: A CONTENT ANALYSIS OF SUSTAINABILITY REPORTS)
Abstract
The notion of sustainability that balances the economy, society and environment, provides a guiding conceptual framework for the practices on the global, national, regional and organizational level. The sustainability practices in the supply chain management are among the most important dimensions of corporate sustainability that generate competitive superiority. The current study examines how the sustainable supply chains, which are somewhat new in the Turkish business environment, are conceptualized and applied in Turkey. The sustainability reports of 10 manufacturing companies operating in Turkey were analyzed and conceptually mapped based on the theoretical framework developed by Seuring and Müller (2008). The results reflect the perceptions of these organizations towards the sub-dimensions of sustainable supply chain concept.
