Faced with the rise of environmental and sustainability issues within territories, more harmonious management becomes essential. In this context, a certain number of researchers integrate action research into their research. This concept, which is increasingly being applied, makes it possible to involve all stakeholders in the territory, both state authorities and those in the private sphere. This leads the researcher to take on the role of “negotiator”, informant, guide and facilitator. This researcher must stay away from the decisions made and not influence the actors. Territorial governance is therefore put in place which involves all stakeholders and often gives good results and a certain social cohesion within the territories.
