Abstract
A reedbed restoration experiment has been carried out in the Grande Brière marsh since 2008 with several socio-economic and ecological targets. The technical challenge of this experiment consisted in using a machine adapted to soil characteristics (peat substrate and water regime). Few months after the experiment, reed productivity was found of intermediate values compared to reference reedbeds, the plant biodiversity remained low while the use of this reedbed by fish was limited during the following spring flooding event.
