FATIGUE LIFE ANALYSIS OF CYLINDRICAL HELICAL COMPRESSION SPRING BASED ON WEIBULL DISTRIBUTION
Abstract
In order to study the processing method of spring fatigue data,a cylindrical helical compression spring with high service stress was designed and fatigue test was carried out. A new process of spring fatigue data processing is proposed. We developed a Weibull distribution parameter determination program with visual interface using C # and MATLAB mixed programming method based on the traditional Weibull reliability analysis and the graph estimation method based SVM. Using the developed software program analysis of Weibull reliability with different sample sizes spring fatigue data. The methods of graph estimation based SVM and traditional Weibull distribution parameters are compared. The results show that the graph estimation method based SVM has better fitting precision in the case of large sample or small sample. Therefore,the method of graph estimation based on SVM can be used as a method of reliability analysis of Weibull fatigue life of cylindrical helical compression springs. At the same time verify the validity and accuracy of the developed program.
