With the increasing interest in corporate governance practices around the world, it is seen that the research on this subject have increased in the literature. It is known that practices regarding corporate governance differ from country to country for reasons such as culture and legal system. The aim of this research is to synthesize the results of the studies in the Web of Science database by addressing a systematic literature review on corporate governance practices carried out in the last ten years between 2012-2022 in a country-specific manner. As a result of the research, country-specific articles on corporate governance were added to other criteria as inclusion criteria. As a result of the analyzes, it was determined that the journal in which the articles on corporate governance practices on a country basis were published most frequently was the "South African Journal of Economic and Management Sciences"; Although the frequency of publication of the articles fluctuates according to the years, the most frequent years are 2015 and 2019; articles are generally conducted with two or more authors; the countries that were most subject to research were the United Kingdom, South Africa and China; When viewed as a country group, the country groups most frequently subject are African and Anglo-Saxon Countries; It has been seen that the most discussed topics are sustainability, corporate governance principles, and shareholder and stakeholder relations. In the articles examined, it was seen that qualitative and mixed methods were used more than quantitative methods for reasons such as increasing reliability and validity, as well as difficulties in accessing primary data. It is stated that the results of the systematic literature review and the results of the articles will contribute to the literature by giving an idea to the readers about the country practices and will shed light on the future studies; When we look at our country in particular, it is thought that the scarcity of studies in SSCI in the WOS database draws attention and that there is a need for qualified studies in our country in the literature.
