This paper examines interdependencies between access to education and equal economic chances with a focus on Uganda spotlighted through legal lenses. Interestingly, access to education does not only interact with equal economic chances as a cause-and-effect relationship but rather as an interdependency. This paper gives a full background of education as a sector in Uganda and then examines the legal framework before delving into some challenges culminating into a spotlight on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on education in Uganda. The paper the looks at a way forward and makes a conclusion on what is pertinent.
