The paper is a kind of manual for judges and prosecutors in deciding on the costs of criminal proceedings. In it, they would find the answer to almost every situation in that matter. It is based on the analysis of 300 decisions of the Supreme Court of Cassation (period from 2010 to 2022), 40 decisions of the Basic Court in Novi Sad (2021 and 2022); two decisions of the Constitutional Court; 21 sets of sources - Supreme Court of Cassation responses to disputable issues (2014), Legal interpretations of the Criminal Department of the Supreme Court of Cassation (2016 to 2019), Legal interpretations of the Civil Department of the Supreme Court of Cassation (2016), Bulletins of the Supreme Court of Cassation and the Supreme Court (2007, 2008, 2018, 2019 and 2021), Summary Reports of the Appellate Public Prosecutor's Office in Novi Sad (2014 and 2015), Legal opinions of the Misdemeanor Court of Appeals (2018 and 2019); nine decisions wordings and conclusions of the SCC (2013 to 2020) and relevant textbook and commentary literature. An overview of titles and subtitles is presented first, followed by their content, and finally the literature. The axis of the work is a sample of 342 court decisions, hence the title.
