Academic scientific editions in the centralized infrastructure of open publications

The purpose of the article is to analyze the state of integration of the electronic archive of scientific periodicals of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine into the global scientometric space, to consider the main international databases available to Ukrainian scientific publications, in particular Index Copernicus, Directory of Open Access Journals, the Reference Database "Ukraine scientific", setting out the principles of modern trends in the development of science. Research methods. A number of scientific approaches and methods were applied - theoretical, systemic, structural approaches; methods of comparative and logical analysis, classification method, source analysis, and website analysis. The scientific novelty consists in analyzing the readiness of scientific editions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine to enter the international scientometric space - the presence of an ISSN, an international digital identifier DOI, a website of the publication, which are necessary conditions for including the journal in international scientometric databases and search engines; in the coverage of the indexing of academic scientific periodicals in the world’s largest abstract-bibliographic and scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science, participation of scientific journals of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the Open Journal Systems. Conclusions. An important tool for publicizing and disseminating the results of scientific research is their placement in journal publications, in particular in scientific periodicals of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as the most dynamic component of the information space. That is why journal articles become a priority source of obtaining information and combining knowledge from all branches of science and occupy an important place in the system of scientific communications.
