Library - Higner Edukational Institution: Aspekts of Interaktion in the Systemof Social Communikations (on the Example of Students’ Practice in the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine)
Abstract
Aim of the research. To substantiate the expediency of expanding the interaction between libraries and higher education institutions as partners in the system of social communications in order to provide information support for educational and scientific activities of students in the process of library and documentation practice.The methodological basis of the study was: systems approach, structural analysis and synthesis, observation, experiment, social communication method. Scientific novelty of the study is to clarify the main areas of interaction between institutions -social partners in the modern conditions of development of the system of social communications, growing competition among scientific, educational, informationinstitutions; improving the organization of the practice of students of highereducation on the basis of the library and information institution. Received furtherdevelopment: methodological approach to consolidation of theoretical knowledge acquired during training in higher education; application of new forms and methods of work with students, implementation of projects that affect the formation of their professional skills and abilities to make independent decisions in their future activitiesin real market and production conditions, contribute to the deepening of interest in scientific work. Results of the research. Emphasis is placed on the expediency of expanding the interaction between the library and the higher education institution to ensure the further development of science and education, the implementation of joint projects and programs; presented many years of experience in the practice of university students in the library institution of the national level with the use of new forms and methods of work, information and communication technologies, organization of entertainment and intellectual games, creative tasks; students’ impressions of the internship, interpersonal communication with managers, use of documentary and electronic resources of the library, which allows the institution to find ways to optimize the library service, monitor the feasibility of existing and the need for new ways of interaction between the library and higher education.
