On the Solution of a Class of Nonlinear Systems Governed by an π-Matrix
Abstract
We consider a weakly nonlinear system of the form (πΌ+π(π₯)π΄)π₯=π, where π(π₯) is a real function of the unknown vector π₯, and (πΌ+π(π₯)π΄) is an π-matrix. We propose to solve it by means of a sequence of linear systems defined by the iteration procedure (πΌ+π(π₯π)π΄)π₯π+1=π, π=0,1,β¦. The global convergence is proved by considering a related fixed-point problem.
