A survey of factors affecting the investment capitals into Ca May province
Abstract
This study aimed to explore the factors that impact on attracting investment to the Ca Mau province, located on the south pole of Viet Nam. Researchers used two main methods, namely Exploratory Factors Analysis (EFA) and a Multiple Regression Approach to explore and measure the impact of factors affecting the investment capitals into Ca Mau province. Thesample size consisted of 335 domestic and foreign investors in Ca Mau province. The research results identified the following factors affecting investment in agriculture, forestry, and fishery in Ca Mau: the decision of the local authorities and their support, the market, geographical locations and aquatic resources. Factors affecting investment in the industry –construction sector in Ca Mau include the decision of the local government, investment related policy and support activities, and the market. The market factors, investment cost, reliable partner relationship, convenient location for warehouse operations, and economic zones impact on attracting investment into the commerce -service sector of Ca Mau province.
