Kostroma Region Toponymy, an Electronic Database: Field Material Processing and Systematization

Abstract

The article is devoted to Kostroma Region Toponymy, an electronic database developed at the Department of Russian Language and General Linguistics, Ural Federal University. The author characterizes the structure of the database, the toponymic field material forming it, and reviews some problems underlying the registration and organization of linguistically significant data, along with some prospects within the project.
