The interface between syntactic and morphological structures and their phonological correlates is an important part of the grammar of natural languages. In this book, a revised version of her dissertation defended in November 2001 at the University of Lisbon, Marina Vigário (henceforth V) investigates this interface with respect to European Portuguese. The kind of Portuguese investigated is the standard variety of Portuguese as spoken in Lisbon by people of 20-40 years old.
