About the analisys of simultaneous induction hardening method of pinions with rectangular coil

Abstract

This paper proposes simultaneous hardeningmethod of pinions with eddy currents using rectangularcoil. This proceeding remark in little clear advantage facefrom individual treatment of pinions tooth. The heatinganalysis of treat piece needs solution of thermal diffusionproblems coupled with eddy currents problem. Thereforethe experiments number in designing process can bedecreased and a better knowledge of the process can beobtained.
