This study was conducted to extract first, the underlyingfactors of Home Culture Attachment Scale (HCAS) andsecond, to confirm these factors via Structural EquationModeling (SEM) analysis. To meet this end, the scale wasdistributed to 374 English language learners in privatelanguage institutes in Mashhad, Iran. To determine theconstruct validity of the scale, Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) was performed. The results of the analysesdemonstrated that there were five underlying factors of thescale. Then, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysiswas performed to find a model of interaction amongvariables. The SEM results confirmed the existence of fivefactors. Finally, statistical results were discussed andimplications were provided in the context of Englishlanguage learning.
