PROFILE OF DR. OLGA RAMOS

Abstract

First of all, I would like to thank the authorities of the Argentine Society of Diabetes and the Editorial Committee of the Journal for their interest in inviting me to share with my colleagues the experience of my professional life. My profile corresponds to a pediatrician with a subspecialty in Nutrition and Diabetes. In 1961 I studied Pediatrics as the last subject of the Medicine career at Casa Cuna. In that time, I realized that Pediatrics would be my specialty, so at the end of the course I decided to stay in the chair of Prof. Felipe de Elizalde. Therefore, after obtaining my degree and for 10 years, I developed as a doctor of General Pediatrics.
