Autobiography from the view of poetics of Serbian literature by Jovan Deretic

Abstract

Jovan Deretic in Poetics of Serbian Literature defines autobiography as a 'kind inter alia' or a 'limit kind' or a literary-scientific kind, in consideration that the autobiography exists among the literature and some other forms of written word. Except this genre classification, Jovan Deretic follows the autobiography from its very beginnings and explicitly explains its main characteristics, mentioning, at the same time, the authors of this literary-scientific kind.
