What lies beyond consciousness? Nietzschean reworking of the mind-body relationship in terms of power

Abstract

Nietzsche's critique of the notion of soul is inevitably linked to his more general claim for the role of the body in its relation to conscious thought. This alternative can be considered as a new interpretative and conceptual framework from which to address the issue of the relationship between body and mind, on the basis of the redefinition of psychology in terms of power relations
