Guide of the procedure of the indicators of the Sustainable Forest Management
Abstract
The work was developed in the province of Cienfuegos, Cuba, with the aspiration to propose a Guide Procedures for the operationalization of indicators for sustainable forest management in the forestry units. Participatory workshops with actors and makers of forestry units in the definition of the attributes of the Procedural Guidance were used. The Delphi method is used in the validation of the proposal. The results of the analysis of the reliability of the instrument applied to the experts are acceptable because the Hotelling T2 value was 322.46 p = 0.007, there is a significant, strong correlation between the elements of the instrument, expressed in the intraclass correlation with a coefficient of 0.756 to p = 0.038, Alpha reliability coefficient Cronbach of 0.806, Spearman-Brown coefficient equal to 0.656 and Guttman split halves of 0.606. Guide Procedure guarantees the systematization of primary information generated in a system of sustainability indicators in forestry units, which allows assessment of the trend of sustainable forest management, according to the particularities of each unit of production forest.
