Rights are numerous and diverse, and a person's life is never devoid of rights either granted to them or imposed upon them. Among the most significant principles related to rights is the concept of substitution and settlement, particularly in light of the evolving non-financial transactions. One of these rights that has become the focus of discussion is the right stemming from matters of personal status. This research aims to elucidate the meaning of the right, while examining the insights provided by our jurists on these matters, striving to extract certain principles and guidelines that unify the various aspects of the subject. Subsequently, these principles and guidelines are applied to the right derived from the most essential topics of personal status matters..
