Saint-Jean-le-Thomas (50) : fouiller à marée basse dans la baie du Mont-Saint-Michel

Abstract

In Saint-Jean-le-Thomas, in the heart of one of the largest european estuaries, largely uncovered at low tide, the study of a several fishweirs was made possible only through the research of the most effective gestures dealing wtih remains very well preserved on nearly 3 hectares. This little article put in light some technical solutions permitting an adaptation to particular conditions concerning the submersion of the site and a limited work time.
