The article is devoted to the cognitive structuring and formalization of a subject area in order to create a system-cognitive model that reflects the strength and sign of the influence of the volume of purchases and sales of various goods on the profit and profitability of a company. At the same time, reference books will be developed for the future states of an object of modeling and the factors affecting it, using them to encode the source data and to form a training set.
