Abstract

Read online

The author presents short texts, essay-like, on different subjects. He first criticizes consumer society in a world that every day is more into technological terms and virtual interactions; then approaches the meaning of love for humanity, to later analyze sickness and criticize the moral segregation of victims; inspired by Borges, he turns to a series of considerations on the creation and destiny phenomena, as well as giving a thought to the issue of global inequality, based on statistical analysis. By referring to the freedom of personality speech that floats in the environment, he presents the Puritanism existing in San Francisco; then points out several ideas on the actual need of assessing everything. A series of aphorisms is also included.
