Deutsche Redewendungen und Chunks mit Tieren – ein Gesteuerter Spracherwerb

Abstract

The present article focusses on the importance of German chunks from the perspective of learners of German as a foreign language. Specific characteristics of chunks portraying animals are being described, such as multiple componency, idiomacy, fixed structurness, usage and phonological coherence. Some inevitable translations from the native language or even from a better known language are referred to as well, as part of the aquisition process of German as a foreign language.
