Desmids of a dune-surrounded lake in Zieleniec near Warsaw

The author reports the results of investigations of 12 months duration on the flora and changes in the quantitative composition of desmids in a lake enclosed by dunes. One hundred three taxons were found to occur in it including: 89 species, 8 varieties and 6 forms belonging to 17 genera.
