Throughout different historical periods, artists have inspired in their context. His works can be considered as a result of the union of different representative references of their personal, social and historical environment. Analyzing the fragments of these works, these authors and their circumstances can be studied, in the same way that the reconstruction of cultural history is possible through the analysis of its ruins. Although postmodernity is considered as the time when this method of artistic creation becomes more evident due to its visuality, this research proposes to extend this approach to different periods of art through various examples.
