Moving Mesh for the Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations

Abstract

In this paper we present moving meshes for the numeric resolution of partial differential equations. We describe some important concepts on this topic and point to existing body of work for the solution of partial differential equations using the methods of finite volumes and finite elements, both with moving meshes.
