Incidental diagnosis of silent extrahepatic portosystemic shunt

Abstract

Key Clinical Message Extrahepatic portosystemic shunts are a very rare disease. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are needed to prevent serious complications. In asymptomatic patients, conservative treatment is an option.
