PNE 2014-2024’s Goal 17: teacher´s remuneration in the state education network in Mato Grosso do Sul

The paper examines the appreciation of teachers from the state teaching network in Mato Grosso do Sul from 2007 to 2017. It was applied the critical dialectical approach, documentary and bibliographical studies on the Work Position, Career and Remuneration Plans designed for teachers. With a view to materializing the National Education Plan (PNE)’s Goal 17 and its strategies, expressed by means of its conditions and remuneration, the paper analyzes the evolution of the initial and final payment of teachers who work 40 hours a week. The Mato Grosso do Sul’s State Education Plan (PEE) proved to be very timid in the production of significant impacts in terms of gains and/or increases in teacher remuneration, by reproducing most of the PNE provisions, as the accounting policies initially indicated.
