Aim of the research was to define the influence of comorbid pathology on expressiveness of an inflammation. Methods and results. 59 persons with community acquired pneumonia (CAP) and acute exacerbation of COPD (AE COPD) were included. The diagnostic significance of CR-P and SP-D markers was studied with Immunoassay methods considering comorbid arterial hypertension (AH). The existence of comorbid AH in patients with CAP and AE COPD is followed by a tendency to higher figures of C-RP and reliable increase of the SP-D levels. Conclusion. Acute process is characterized by reliably higher meanings of markers, as compared with exacerbation of the chronic process.
