With economic development and urbanization on the rise, the economic construction affects the spatial form, regional culture and social structure of the rural heritage in China. Accordingly, this study chooses Tunpu settlements with multiple immigrant histories and special cultural backgrounds, which are located in Guizhou Province, Southwest China, as the research object. A comprehensive study was conducted of the architectural, spiritual, and clan networks of Tunpu settlements, using methods such as social network analysis and correlation analysis. The results indicate that although the traditional spatial form has been affected by urban expansion, the traditional social cohesion has not disappeared. The current trend in the spatial development of Tunpu settlements is influenced by several factors, including its geographical location, social environment, and ethnic culture.
