In the current study, Fe _3 O _4 /Ag nanohybrids demonstrating high efficiency in liver cancer ferroptosis therapy and MR imaging were synthesized using a facile one-pot approach. Subsequently, their morphology, chemical composition, structure, Fenton reaction activity, and magnetic resonance (MR) contrast effect were systemically assessed. Importantly, the in vitro studies demonstrated that the Fe _3 O _4 /Ag nanohybrids had a high therapeutic efficiency in treating liver cancer cells and performed exceptionally well during T _2 -weight MR imaging. Correspondingly, these Fe _3 O _4 /Ag nanohybrids demonstrate significant potential for use in the field of biomedicine.
