Les archivistes à l’épreuve du « logiciel métier »

Abstract

This article deals with the insertion of professional software in the professional world of Public archives. Due to the unequal acceptance of business software, we propose a reflection on the way in which professionals are involved in the process of building the tool. In this perspective, we have endeavored to reintegrate business software into an organizational system and a universe of values. The study shows that the departmental archives services are historically not very open to the participation of subordinate agents; the technical skills needed to set up and adjust business software reinforce the exclusion of agents. The analysis tends to show an evolution of the content of the roles of each rather than a transformation of the balance of power within the collective.
