Adaptation of multyafactor questionnaire empathy M.Davis

Abstract

This article describes the process and the results of the questionnaire adaptation of empathy American social psychologist M. Davis, which is widely used in foreign psychology, researchers recognized the most valid and reliable. Based on analysis of existing foreign and domestic psychology psychodiagnostic means for studying empathy concluded that the multi-factor approach to the measurement of empathy, justify M. Davis, best matches the currently prevailing ideas about its structure. Adaptation procedure is described in detail, demonstrate reliability and construct validity of the test, and presents the results of research conducted with its use.
